My professor emailed me a link to an artist who made one drawing for each page of Herman Melville's Moby Dick. For whatever reason, it reminded her of me. I started flipping through it, and read page 15's quote: "I don't know how it is, but people like to be private when they are sleeping."

This works perfectly with my work this semester.

The installations class opening last night at Area 405.

Colors and contrast are kind of off in the photos...and it's still in progress, but here's what I've been working on the past few days. Not a whole lot left to do, clean up the skin and torso, maybe incorporate the background into the figure more. I've got to remember to stop before I overwork it. I want to keep an ephemeral kind of feeling in it.
