These images were taken by a man (I forget his name now, Jeff something?) who approached us with his Leica M8 (I died when I saw this. DIED.) and told us he'd taken some shots and wanted to send them to us. He also shoots with an M6, but says he prefers digital. What kind of Leica owner is he?? Anyway, these are his - Steph and I were taking a break and drawing the Beatles "tribute band" in Strawberry Fields of Central Park

I would update this more often but snails are running faster than my internet lately. I can't upload images at all...
It's also that time of year when the workload starts piling up (I have to read 300-400 pages by next week, finish two paintings, start two more, and draw draw draw. Oh art school.....) and I'm starting to feel sick. Last night I had a migraine that just would not go away. I was almost in tears because of it - they've never been so strong and long lasting.
Once I find my way over to a scanner, I'll scan in some b+w I took in NYC. They've turned out beautifully so far; I'm really pleased with how my first shoot in at least 2 years has gone! I've got some color film I keep neglecting to print too, I have to remember that! I don't even know what's on there, except for a snapshot of Jon Stewart in KMART. (the beginning of one of the best days EVER. So many celebrity meetings in one day - Mike Britt from 'Best Week Ever' among other stand-up comedians at a little club hung out with us after his show, and I spent the night at Sanjaya's apartment - you know, the american idol with the ponyhawk - just talking and getting to know him.
I miss NY. Baltimore just isn't where my heart is - at least not this neighborhood. I like MICA well enough, but I'm definitely looking into spending at least a semester - if not a whole year abroad and out of this city. I think it would be much better for me, personally and artistically. I get stuck in a rut, I don't feel energized about anything.
(EDIT)
